Eggless Mocha Marble Cake




Ingredients

1 ½ cups flour
1 cup oil
1 ½ cup castor sugar
¾ cup milk
1 cup curd
1 tsp baking soda
1 ½ tsp baking powder
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp coffee powder
4 tbsp hot water
1 tsp vanilla essence
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Mix curd and baking soda. Mix hot water, cocoa powder and coffee powder to a smooth paste.
Cream together oil and sugar. Add the milk and beat well. Add the vanilla essence. Add the curd. Sift together flour and baking powder and add to the batter. Divide the batter into two. Add the coffee-cocoa paste to one. 
Line and grease an 8” cake tin. Ladle spoonful of the two batters to give a marbled effect. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
