Cheese Stuffed Seekh Kabab
I have never made sheek kababs at home and I never imagined
it can be so easy. It also gives you the leeway to make it more interesting by
playing with ingredients. The soft cheese oozing out of the home made seek
kababs was out of this world.
For the marinade
500 gms mutton mince
1 tsp white pepper powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp fenugreek powder
1 tbsp ginger paste
1 tbsp garlic paste
Few green chillies chopped
2 tbsp fresh green coriander chopped
For the filling
1 cup grated cheese
For the batter
½ cup flour
½ cup cornflour
1 egg
1 tsp white pepper powder
1 tbsp ginger garlic powder
Marinate the mutton mince with the marinade ingredients for
about an hour.
Make long kababs and put them on skewers.
Preheat the oven
to 200 degree Celsius. Bake for about 10 minutes. Let cool.
Slit the kababs and put in grated cheese.
Now prepare the batter. Whisk the egg and mix with the rest.
Make a batter with some water. Dip the kababs in the batter and deep fry.
Cut them into roundels and you can see the cheese oozing
out. And it tastes heavenly.
